Spice up your ceramic hobby with raku experience! Raku firing makes ceramic surfaces vivid with reds, greens, lyster and crackle while smoke blackens non-glazed parts. The course offers a possibility to try naked raku technique. For the course, bring appr. 5 kg worth of raku clay (bisque fired, min 5 cm x 5 cm, max 20 cm) objects. The course fee includes firing, teaching (in Finnish, ask keramiikkakeskus@septaria.fi if english guidance is possible), glazes and soup lunch + coffee/tea.
Please notice that synthetic fiber clothes are a safety risk.
