SEPTARIA

 

Septaria is a combination of both educational and hobby agency. We have been up and running since 1990 at Kaapelitehdas. Company was founded by Irma Weckman and Salme Rinne. The opening ceremony was held on 2.2.1990. In year 2005 ceramic artist Irma Weckman’s lifework had a new owner when Septaria was proceeded to Kerapro. After Arcil Oy and Kerapro Oy merged the new owner was now called Kerasil Oy.  

 

 

 

Our courses offer the ceramic basics: hand building, wheel throwing and glazing courses. Course program contains also follow-ups and special techniques. Here you can host birthdays, stag parties, friends’ nights or company recreation days (handcrafting). Septaria’s teachers are professionals and everything you need is included in the course price.

 

 

Our Open Studio is for everyone - newcomers and ceramic enthusiasts. We offer also kiln firing services and customization.

 

 

Kerasil shop has a wide range of ceramic tools: clays, glazes, under glazes, engobes, kiln gear etc. You can explore our products on www.kerasil.fi. Septaria’s product range is slightly smaller than in Kerasil but all the products can be ordered to Kaapelitehdas. Please notice that heavy ware (clays and ingredient bags) prices are with transport fee (0,20 €/kg).
