Do you want to use your own motifs in the design of the plate so that your own handprint is visible?
In the course, a picture painted on paper is transferred to the surface of the clay. You can use your own drawing or picture of a landscape or animal. If you want to use your own motif, bring the printed image to the class. The image will stick to the surface as a mirror image, if you want text written on the surface, you can turn your text into a mirror image in a photo editing program before printing on paper. The image serves as a template for your painting, and your brushstrokes are transferred onto the clay.
